Cornus kousa is a small deciduous tree 8–12 m (26–39 ft) tall, in the flowering plant family Cornaceae. Common names include kousa, kousa dogwood, Chinese dogwood,Korean dogwood, and Japanese dogwood. Synonyms are Benthamia kousa and Cynoxylon kousa. It is a plant native to East Asia including Korea, China and Japan. Widely cultivated as an ornamental, it is naturalized in New York State.

The plant arrived stressed and wilted I contacted them right away. Very quick response asking if I wanted a new tree sent. I am waiting to see if I can get this one to come back first but very impressed that the offer was made. Excellent customer service.

I ordered may15. Still haven't got my tree. If you contact them you get automated message " working on current orders" ridiculous! Update, I finally received tree on 6/20 it is nice.
